If they do not receive a response they should contact emergency services directly and get hold of your closest listed relative. The company should demonstrate proactivity.
3. How Simple Is The Device To Use?
Generally, medical alarms are quite quick and easy to install, but if the installation is more complicated than your chances of using it, or it puts you off using it, you may want to reconsider. It only makes a difference if it is easy to use. Remember that you should also have battery back-up in the event of a power failure. It is also helpful if the company offers full support during the installation process, so that you have someone to call if there is a problem. Also you should have the option to cancel an emergency alert in the event that you activate it by mistake.
